Miley Ray Cyrus's real name was Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on November 23rd 1992 in Franklin Tennessee the state of Tennessee, she was brought up at Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. Miley has five brothers and sisters. Two older siblings and a younger sibling. Her parents chose her name because they hoped she would achieve greatness. Miley was shortened from Smiley in her youth that she was awarded because of her cheerful nature. Ron Cyrus was her grandfather. Cyrus began her education at Heritage Elementary School located in Tennessee. The family she was born in moved from Tennessee to Toronto Canada when she was eighteen years old. Billy Ray Cyrus took on a part in Doc (2001), starring in the TV show. At this point, Cyrus also decided to be an actor. She acted alongside her father, Doc (2001), in the beginning of this film. Additionally, she was cast in a tiny part in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus was on Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager girl who leads a double-life as a performer) as the main character. Cyrus was accompanied by her father for the second time. The song became a huge hit, and soon sold-out tours were announced as well as merchandising agreements. Cyrus quickly became a star for teenagers. Cyrus began to take on different roles after her success with Hannah Montana (2006). These included playing Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song, 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)), alongside Demi Moor.
